I received my Master's Degree in Allied Health with an emphasis on Nutrition from Barnes Jewish Hospital, School of Nursing and Allied Health. As part of my undergraduate training in dietetics from Fontbonne College I completed an internship at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. As one of about 150 Registered Dieticians in the U.S., I also completed a postgraduate program in nutrition and was awarded Certification as a Clinical Nutritionist from The International American Association of Clinical Nutritionists (IAACN).
I am a member of the American Dietetic Association as well as numerous Dietetic Practice Groups of the American Dietetic Association. I am also a member of the International and American Association of Clinical Nutritionists.
I have written articles for Ladue Chapel Nursery School and The Healthy Planet newspaper; including a cookbook and nutritional guide for Harris House St. Louis on supporting recovery from addiction. As a member of the St. Louis community I have presented at many clubs, organizations, and schools in addition to leading a monthly nutrition group for four years at the St. Louis Wellness Community. I am also a past member of St. Louis Breastfeeding Task Force and The Nutrition Committee at Food Outreach.
Combining traditional training with a cutting edge holistic approach has allowed me to specialize in helping people change their eating habits to achieve optimum health. What really sets me apart from my peers is my ability to communicate with clients. As an experienced educator with a teaching degree, I excel at motivating individuals to improve the quality of their lives and their well being.
